Kathleen Wilson, Harp for Events

Kathleen Wilson, a seasoned harpist, holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music. For over three decades, she’s been the Principal Harpist with the Charleston Symphony and a key figure in the local music scene. She maintains a busy freelancing schedule and has been Charleston’s go-to harpist for decades.

Beyond the harp, Kathleen is an accomplished marathon swimmer, achieving the Triple Crown. In civic roles, she served on Charleston City Council and later became a Commissioner at Charleston Water System. Recognized with the Order of the Palmetto and inducted into the SC Athletic Hall of Fame, Kathleen, with her husband, resides on James Island, proud parents of two U.S. Navy members.
