We had a great time performing for Christine and Nick’s wedding this past Saturday!

The wedding ceremony was held at the Seacoast church in Mt. Pleasant. They had a nice touch of Christmas with some Christmas decor in the lobby as well as a beautiful Christmas tree in the sanctuary. If you are looking to get married in a church setting but want something with a modern flair, this would be a good possibility. Their rules are very loose with music choices as we did perform some Coldplay for the recessional!

The party continued at the Water’s Edge restaurant on Shem Creek for the cocktail hour. The day was rather chilly but the semi-outdoor cocktail hour under a tent with heaters created a cozy and intimate atmosphere for the guests. Afterwards the guests went inside for the dinner portion.

So here we go with the ceremony music line-up:

Grandmothers/mothers & Bridal Party
In My Life – Beatles

Bride
Canon in D – Pachelbel

Recessional
Viva La Viva – Coldplay

It was a very nice mix of contemporary and classical. Since In My Life was performed for the mothers and bridal party you got to hear the whole entire song which was very nice. Depending on the song, sometimes it is a great option to have one piece played for the whole processional up until the bride. That way the music is more continuous and you hear more of that song.

Congratulations Christine and Nick on their marriage!
