Classical String Trio – Ceremony at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens

We always enjoy the variety of settings when we perform at Magnolia Gardens. There are several spots in the Gardens to have the ceremony take place such as the Carriage House, the Veranda at the Main House, and the Conservatory. We performed in the lawn facing the river behind the Conservatory. The reception took place in the Conservatory which is a very distinctive and interesting spot.

During the ceremony, it was threatening to rain, but thank goodness for everyone it held off until 15 minutes after the reception began. It was neat to be in a real conservatory with the pouring rain beating on the roof being surrounded by rich, green plants and exotic flowers. We worked with mainly a classical set of songs for the reception which just tied perfectly with the surroundings.
